They were lovers, secret passionate lovers who had left their families and spouses behind. Left their professional careers, given up everything to be together. They had no plan; they just knew it had to be. Ava a lawyer and Nigel a cardiac specialist. They had met on the tube one night, five years ago drawn together like leaves in a windstorm, entwining with each other, feeling the sensation of having known each other for years. They were soul mates. At first they had tried to keep this attraction at bay but it was fate, their destiny.

Dear diary, I have been doing too many things. I have so many projects I want to participate in, so many friends I want to see, so many memories to file. I am blessed for I have a house, I have a family, I have my dog and cats, I even have a turtle…and every day I have food to eat whenever I feel hungry. Initially, fear seems like a huge burden, however, if you look closely, and dive into it, it is controllable. Since my childhood, I'm a witness of terrible, horrific, and manipulative dreams, that immediately wake me up. Eventually, my entire body sweated and sometimes shivered due to the unpleasant incidents in the dreams. Truly, it was terrific! I try to comfort myself by getting out of the room, wash away the warm water droplets from my face, and shove back the eyeballs, in order to relieve myself.

Two parallel worlds. Two people connected and disconnected, under the same roof. You cannot be helped if you don’t want it. So simple to judge, though really hard to take the first steps towards change.
